Exposed Trusswork

Exposed trusswork casts interesting shadows on the shake shingle siding front-facing gables. Inside, the main floor bedrooms are positioned to one side, buffered by the front entryway and staircase. A pocket door eases traffic from the owner’s bedroom to the bathroom which offers a doorless shower with seat, double bowl vanity, private toilet area and direct access to the laundry room with soaking sink. A central flex space includes a recess area ideal for a hutch when used as a dining space, or credenza if it’s a den. Upstairs, there’s a desk/study area outside bedroom 3, and an optional loft space.
