Classic design never goes out of fashion, it satisfies something basic in our search for the perfect home. This one begins with a covered front porch opening to a floor plan that is well proportioned and family-sized. The main level holds living and dining areas, plus a garage with space for three vehicles. The foyer holds a half-bath and coat closet and leads to office space conveniently placed near the front entry. A vaulted great room with fireplace lies just beyond the foyer. It overlooks a patio that can be accessed from the dining area. Look for a recessed niche in the dining area designed to hold a hutch. The kitchen connects to a service area with walk-in pantry, closet and laundry room. There is also a door here to the garage. Bedrooms are on the upper level.
